Who is asking

ARKHITAS is an AI systems and software engineering studio operating from Sparta, Greece. We decide what this site collects and why, which makes us the data controller for it.

Anything in this policy can be settled at one address: hello@arkhitas.com.

What this site collects

Three things, and nothing else: what you type into the enquiry form, the cookie holding your answer to the cookie question, and the request log our host keeps in order to serve the page.

There is no account system, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no attempt to work out who you are across other sites.

The enquiry form

The form asks for a name and an email address. They are used for one purpose: to answer you. They are not added to a mailing list, sold, enriched, or used to build a profile, and we need nothing else from you to have a first conversation.

Cookies

One cookie, first-party, and it is only set once you have answered the question. The answer covers three optional categories — analytics, advertisers, and third party — each off by default.

If you allow any optional category, whatever it sets will be listed here before it is switched on. Nothing in those categories runs today.

Clearing the cookie — with the button at the end of this page, or from your browser — withdraws your consent and brings the question back.

Who else is involved

Vercel hosts the site. Serving you a page means their infrastructure necessarily sees your IP address and browser, and keeps them briefly in request logs to deliver pages and to defend against abuse.

The two typefaces load from Google Fonts, so that request reaches Google with your IP address. The background film and everything else are served from this domain.

No advertising networks, no social embeds, no chat widgets, no tag managers.

Why we are allowed to

For the optional cookie categories: your consent, freely given and withdrawable at any time without consequence. For the request logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. For an enquiry you send: the steps you have asked us to take toward working together.

How long any of it lasts

Your consent record expires on its own — the table above gives the exact lifetime. Enquiry correspondence is kept while the conversation is live and deleted once it plainly is not. Request logs follow our host's own short retention period.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict what we do with it, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw consent. Write to hello@arkhitas.com and we will answer within thirty days.

If we handle that badly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Where a change affects cookies, the question is asked again rather than quietly re-interpreted.
